Siddharth Kak

Biography:

Ram Chandra Kak’s grandson is Siddharth. He received his education at Sanawar’s Lawrence School  before earning his degree from Delhi’s St. Stephen’s College.

Presently, Siddharth Kak presents the popular Gujarati dramatist Ami Trivedi’s travel show “Indiadhanush” on NDTV Imagine. Actress Gita Siddharth was his wife until her passing in 2019. Antara Kak, their daughter, is a documentary filmmaker.

The most well-known work of Indian documentary filmmaker, television producer, and presenter Siddharth Kak is Surabhi (1990–2001). Then, with the Ford Foundation’s help, Kak founded the “Surabhi Foundation” and began an initiative to preserve cultural artifacts.
