Actor Sibi Sathyaraj, who is also known by his stage name Sibiraj, is an Indian who performs in Tamil cinema. He is Sathyaraj, the actor,’s son.
Sibi attended Don Bosco Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Sherwood Hall Senior Secondary School, and Loyola College in Chennai, where he earned a degree in commerce.
Sibi was supposed to make his acting debut in early 2003 with Renjith’s Swami, a Tamil adaptation of the Malayalam film Nandanam (2003). But even after preproduction got underway, the movie was eventually scrapped.
Then, in 2003, Sibi made his acting debut in the critically panned film Student Number 1. He costarred with his father Sathyaraj in his next four films, Jore (2004), Mannin Maindhan (2005), Vetrivel Sakthivel (2005), and Kovai Brothers (2006).
Sathyaraj also produced Sibi’s next film, Lee (2007), which was directed by Prabhu Solomon and in which he played a football player. Early on, he was scheduled to star in a number of films, including Perumal Swamy, Pattasu, and Mamu, but those projects were postponed.
Sibi wed Revathi, an engineer employed by a Chennai-based IT company, on September 14, 2008. Before getting married, the two had been dating for thirteen years.
