Shwetambari Bhatt

Biography:

Shwetambari Soni is a collector of Indian art and the founder of the art gallery ‘Trinity Art Impact.’ She is the wife of acclaimed film director Vikram Bhatt, best known for his work on the horror film series ‘Raaz.’Shwetambari Ashok Soni was born on October 6, in Mumbai, Maharashtra. Her astrological sign is Libra.

She studied Hotel Management at Rizvi College of Hotel Management in Mumbai. In 2007, she enrolled in a brief course at Christie’s in London, a British auction company that also offers fine art storage. She received a Goldman Sachs women entrepreneurship scholarship in 2012 to study business practises at the Indian School of Business in Hyderabad.

The short course at Christie’s in London enabled her to leave hotel management and open her art gallery, ‘Gallererie Angel Arts,’ in 2007, with her business partner Reshma Jani (former fashion designer). The gallery’s art events are also blended with accessible mediums such as music, fashion, jewellery, and so on. Gallerie Angel Arts, in collaboration with Chivas and VH1, organised “Art and Music Unplugged,” an event held at the JW Marriott in Mumbai in September 2012.
