Shweta Tiwari

Biography:

Indian actress Shweta Tiwari was born on October 4, 1980, and her main medium of employment is Hindi television. Her most well-known role was that of Prerna Sharma in Kasautii Zindagii Kay, the soap opera starring Ekta Kapoor.

She took part in Bigg Boss 4 in 2010 and won, making history as the show’s first female champion. She has also had success in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, and Nach Baliye. In addition, Tiwari has performed in television series including Mere Dad Ki Dulhan as Guneet Sikka, Begusarai as Bindiya, and Parvarrish as Sweety.

Her most recent role was as the title character Aparajita in the Zee TV series Main Hoon Aparajita.  Actor Raja Chaudhary and Tiwari were wed in 1998; their daughter, Palak Tiwari, was born on October 8, 2000. She was married for nine years before she filed for divorce in 2007.

According to Tiwari, she was in a difficult relationship with Raja because of his drunkenness and domestic abuse. He used to beat her up every day, she moaned. He used to show up on her show sets and act inappropriately toward her.

On July 13, 2013, Tiwari and actor Abhinav Kohli tied the knot following a three-year courtship. Tiwari gave birth to their baby Reyansh Kohli on November 27, 2016. In 2017, rumors about their marital troubles initially surfaced. She reported domestic abuse against Kohli in August 2019, claiming he had harassed her and her daughter. Kohli was placed under arrest by the police. In 2019, Tiwari and Kohli got divorced.
