Before gracing the silver screen, Shubra Aiyappa honed her talents at Baldwin Girls High School in Bangalore. Her journey into film began with the 2014 Telugu film “Prathinidhi,” marking the start of a career that would see her shine across languages and genres.
While Kannada films became her primary stage, she also captivated audiences in Tamil and Telugu projects like “Sagaptham” (2015) and “Vajrakaya” (2015).
While modeling initially captured Shubra Aiyappa’s attention, her sights were set on the silver screen. She secured a role in the Telugu film “Rey” (2015), but ultimately chose to launch her acting career with “Prathinidhi” (2014) as a journalist.
The same year, she ventured into Tamil cinema with “Sagaptham,” though the film and her role received minimal acclaim. However, her brief appearance in the Kannada film “Vajrakaya” (2015) proved more fruitful, garnering positive reviews and opening doors for further opportunities.
Aiyappa then collaborated with Diganth Manchale in “Thimayya & Thimayya,” which received mixed reviews but decent box office success. Currently, she’s filming “Ramana Avatara” alongside Rishi and Pranitha Subash.
