Born into a prominent Marathi-Konkani family, she is the daughter of the renowned Marathi theater personality Nandu Khote and a Konkani lady from Mangalore, Karnataka. Notably, her younger brother is the acclaimed actor Viju Khote, and her aunt was the legendary actress Durga Khote, while her maternal uncle, Nayampalli, also graced the silver screen.
