Biography:

Shruti Sharma, an Indian actress primarily active in Hindi television, commenced her career as a participant on the reality show India’s Next Superstars in 2018. Subsequently, in 2019, she marked her television acting debut with Gathbandhan, portraying the character of IPS Dhanak Parekh.

Venturing into films, Sharma debuted in Telugu cinema with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya in 2019 and later made her entry into Hindi films with Pagglait in 2021. Additionally, she showcased her versatility by taking on the dual roles of Kahani Verma and Satya Singh Verma in Namak Issk Ka.

Sharma’s television journey started with India’s Next Superstars, where she secured the position of the “Third Superstar” in 2018. Simultaneously, she explored the digital realm with the YouTube web series Blockbuster Zindagi and featured in a music video titled Main Hua Tera with Avitesh Shrivastava in 2018.

Her breakthrough on television came with Gathbandhan in January 2019, where she portrayed the role of IPS Dhanak Parekh, a police officer entangled in a marriage with a don played by Abrar Qazi. She later delved into the Telugu film industry with Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, receiving acclaim from critics and achieving success at the box office.

In 2020, Sharma took on the lead role in the supernatural series Nazar 2, cut short due to the Covid-19 pandemic. She continued her television journey with Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka! playing Shayari Choudhary and later starred in Namak Issk Ka in November 2020, portraying the double role of Kahani Verma/Chamcham and Satya Verma opposite Aditya Ojha. The show concluded in August 2021.

Her foray into Hindi cinema materialized with Pagglait in 2021, where she portrayed the character of Nazia Zaidi, receiving a mix of positive and mixed reviews for her performance.
