Indian actress Shruti Ramachandran primarily performs in Malayalam films. Additionally, she co-wrote the “Ilamai Idho Idho” section of the Tamil anthology movie Putham Pudhu Kaalai from 2020. For her work on Kamala, she received the Kerala State Film Award for Best Dubbing Artist in 2020. She received the Kerala Film Critic’s Association’s Critic’s Mention for Best Actress in 2022 for her performance in Madhuram.
She is most recognized for her work with Joju George and Jayasurya in the 2021 film Madhuram, Jayasurya and her in the 2016 film Pretham, Asif Ali and her in the 2017 film Sunday Holiday, and Tovino and her in the 2021 film Kaanekkaane. Additionally, she portrayed Jaya in the 2019 Telugu film Dear Comrade. She and Jayasurya co-starred in the 2019 film Anveshanam.
For the 2020 release of the anthology movie Putham Pudhu Kaalai, Shruti co-wrote the section “Ilamai Idho Idho” with her husband Francis Thomas.
For her performance in Madhuram, Shruti was given a “Special Jury mention for Acting excellence” by the Kerala State Critics Association. In addition, Shruti received the Kerala State Film Awards for the year 2020’s best dubbing artist for the film Kamala.
