The most well-known films produced by Indian producer Shital Bhatia, who co-founded Friday Filmworks, include A Wednesday! (2008), Special 26 (2013), Baby (2015), M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), Rustom (2016), and Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017).
Plan C Studios is a joint venture between Anil Ambani’s Reliance Entertainment and Shital Bhatia. Mumbai is the birthplace and upbringing of Shital Bhatia. After graduating from Mithibai College, he earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree. He subsequently pursued a diploma in fashion design, which he earned in 1995.
Shital began working as a television costume and fashion designer in 1994 and remained in that position until 2000.
In the short term, Shital and his colleague Neeraj Pandey founded a production firm named “Quarter Inch Productions,” which produced television films and television series, the most well-known of which was Ittefaq. For a spell in between, Shital also managed the production of overseas projects.
Shital and Neeraj Pandey eventually established Friday Filmworks, their own production company, in 2008. A Wednesday!, Taryanche Bait, Baby (2015 Hindi film), Special 26, M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story, Toilet: Ek Prem Katha, Aiyaary, Naam Shabana, Rustom, Operation Romeo, and the upcoming film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha are among the films produced by Friday Filmworks.
