Shashanka Ghosh

Biography:

Shashanka Ghosh is an Indian director and writer renowned for his work in filmmaking. He has directed several successful films, including Khoobsurat, which tells the story of a free-spirited doctor who challenges the rigid traditions of a royal family while falling for the king’s son, and Veere Di Wedding, which follows four independent childhood friends on a bachelorette trip that helps them rediscover themselves.

As a writer, Ghosh is known for crafting the story of Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II, a film he also directed. In addition to his filmmaking career, Ghosh served as the Creative Director for Channel V during the late 1990s.
