Sekhar Master

Biography:

Indian dance choreographer Sekhar Master and Sekhar VJ primarily works in Tamil and Telugu films. He has won five Filmfare Awards South. Sekhar was born in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, on November 7, 1980. He relocated to Hyderabad in 1996 after completing his intermediate studies in Vijayawada. His uncle introduced him to action coordinator Sambasiva Rao, who encouraged him to seek a career in movies since he enjoyed his dancing. In 1996, he received his Telugu Film & TV Dance Directors Association membership card for background dancing. Rakesh Master, a choreographer, taught him. Before becoming a movie choreographer, he spent six years as a background dancer and eight years as an assistant. Sujata and Sekhar are wed, and they have two kids.
