American actor Sean Kaufman was born in 1999 or 2000. His breakthrough performance as Steven Conklin in the coming-of-age romantic series The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022–2025) on Amazon Prime Video is what made him most famous.
Kaufman grew up in New York City, where he was born. He has a younger sister named Abby and is of Japanese ancestry. Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School was his school. Later, he attended the Acting Conservatory at Purchase College, but left in his junior year to work on the first season of The Summer I Turned Pretty. He returned to school when production ended and earned a BFA in acting in 2022. He had an appearance in Madison Beer’s “Bittersweet” music video in 2025.
