Sarfaraz Khan

Biography:

Sarfaraz Khan, an Indian-Canadian former actor, made a mark in Hindi language films and is notably recognized as the son of veteran actor and writer Kader Khan.

Sarfaraz Khan was born in Mumbai to Kader Khan and Azra Khan. His family also includes a brother named Shahnawaz Khan, who is also involved in the film industry. Sarfaraz is married to Shahista Khan, and together they have two children.

Sarfaraz Khan’s acting career includes notable roles in two highly successful films. He played the character Aslam, a friend of Salman Khan’s Radhe, in the tragic romance “Tere Naam” (2003). Additionally, he featured in the action thriller “Wanted” (2009). In 2012, he, along with his father and brother, formed the Kal Ke Kalakar International theatre company.

Apart from his work in films, Sarfaraz Khan took a step into television by reviving the 1990s music show “Antakshari (TV series)” on Zee International in August 2012.

Sarfaraz Khan’s contributions to both cinema and theater showcase his versatility and commitment to the world of entertainment. Despite transitioning away from acting, he has left a notable impact on the Indian film industry.
