Sanjeev Karthick, also known as Syed, is a well-known Indian actor recognized for his roles in Tamil language films and television serials. Before venturing into the world of cinema, he pursued his education at Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College in Coimbatore, India, and completed his schooling at Jaycee Higher Secondary School. Sanjeev made his debut in the film industry with the 2009 movie “Kulir 100°,” where he played the character of Surya, the son of a gangster sent to a private boarding school. However, the film failed both commercially and critically. Following this, he appeared in a series of low-budget films, including “Neeyum Naanum” (2010) and “Sagakkal” (2011).
Despite facing challenges as a lead actor in films, Sanjeev found success in the television industry. His breakthrough came with the TV series “Raja Rani,” which aired on Vijay TV. In his latest release, “Nanbargal Kavanathirku,” produced by Green Channel Entertainment, he played the lead role opposite Manisha Jith, who had previously portrayed Sarath Kumar’s daughter in “Gambeeram.” Sanjeev’s career trajectory shifted towards television, where he gained recognition and popularity.
On a personal note, in 2019, Sanjeev tied the knot with Alya Manasa, his co-star from “Raja Rani.” The couple now has two children, Aila Syed and Arsh Syed, marking a significant chapter in his personal life.
