Sanjay Suri, born on April 6, 1971, in Srinagar, Kashmir, is an Indian actor and film producer primarily associated with Hindi cinema. He made his debut in the film “Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi” (1999) and later gained recognition for his supporting roles. His breakthrough came with “Jhankaar Beats” (2003), establishing him as a seasoned actor.
Sanjay Suri is also a film producer and co-founder of the production company Anticlock Films. He co-produced and acted in the film “I Am.” Born into a Punjabi family, he spent his early years in Srinagar before the family had to relocate due to a terrorist attack. Despite facing challenges, he pursued a career in modelling and later found success in Bollywood.
Suri’s notable films include “Pinjar” (2003), “My Brother… Nikhil” (2005), and “Sorry Bhai!” (2008). His portrayal of diverse characters, including a HIV-positive homosexual in “My Brother… Nikhil,” earned him critical acclaim.
