Biography:

Sam Anton, Born on December 30, 1985, is an Indian filmmaker and writer recognized for his primary involvement in the Tamil cinema. He initiated his career with a horror-comedy film titled “Darling” in 2015, which introduced composer G. V. Prakash Kumar as an actor and marked Nikki Galrani’s debut in Tamil cinema. The movie “Darling” achieved tremendous success, prompting his subsequent collaboration with G. V. Prakash Kumar for his second film, “Enakku Innoru Per Irukku,” in 2016. Moving forward, Sam Anton directed two more projects in 2019 – “100,” featuring Atharvaa and Hansika Motwani, and “Gurkha,” with Yogi Babu playing the lead role.

Sam completed his primary education at Don Bosco, Egmore, and later earned his degree from SRM Engineering College. Subsequently, he embarked on his professional journey at a television network, hosting an ongoing reality show. Recognizing his talent, K.E Gnanavel Raja of Studio Green facilitated his entry into the film industry. Through collaboration with Allu Aravind’s Geetha Arts, they brought about the hugely successful film “Darling,” which garnered massive acclaim in that particular year.
