Salil V

Biography:

Salil V is an Indian director and screenwriter who predominantly creates Malayalam movies. After starting out as an IT professional, he moved on from being an assistant director and a screenwriter by making short films. His screenplay skills were appreciated when he wrote highly regarded Malayalam movies like Kohinoor (2015) and Anveshanam (2020). Salil V marked his directorial debut with the techno-horror movie, Chathur Mukham (2021), which was co-directed by him with Ranjeet Kamala Sankar, and was considered one of the first screen-life horror movies of India. He is known for creating thrilling, suspenseful, and mysterious screenplays that also have an emotional touch to them, and he embraces the modern style of filmmaking. Through his screenwriting skills and his directing ventures, he has become a unique filmmaker in contemporary Malayalam cinema.
