Sajin Gopu

Biography:

Actor Sajin Gopu is from India and performs in Malayalam films. He is from Aluva and made his acting debut in a small part in the 2015 movie Mumbai Taxi. In 2021, Gopu made his debut with Churuli. Later that year, he collaborated with Jan.E.Man. In 2023, the sleeper hit Romancham.

Gopalakrishnan and Pramila’s eldest son, Sajin Gopu, was born in Aluva. He finished his upper secondary education at Aluva Boys Higher Secondary School after completing his high school education at the SNDP School. Gopu attended the De Paul Institute of Science & Technology in Angamaly for his college education.

Sajin played a small part in Mumbai Taxi, his big-screen debut in 2015.  He subsequently had a small part in the movie Thilothama. A pivotal moment in Gopu’s career occurred in 2021 when he played the jeep driver in Lijo Jose Pellissery’s Churuli. He portrayed Saji Vypin in Jan.E.Man that same year, and his portrayal received praise. He played one of the main parts in the horror-comedy Romancham in 2023, and the public responded favorably to his portrayal as Niroop. For his performance as Ambaan in Jithu Madhavan’s gangster action comedy Aavesham, Sajin garnered a lot of critical acclaim.

The New Indian Express’s Vignesh Madhu wrote: “Ambadi, whom Ranga affectionately and humorously refers to as Ambaan, is his right-hand guy. With a baby’s heart and a beast’s strength, it is an equally caricatured role. Sajin Gopu is fiery in this part and wonderfully embodies Fahadh’s insanity. Every time the movie seems to be losing momentum, these two characters keep it going.
