Sahil Takhi, an Indian actor, was born on September 26, 1984, in Chandigarh. His career journey began as an Assistant Professor in an engineering college. During his time as an engineering student, he ventured into stand-up comedy and developed a passion for theater, which eventually turned into his profession starting in 2016. He pursued a one-year certification course in acting at Chandigarh Art Theatre and has been actively involved in theater ever since. Some of his noteworthy roles in theater include lead characters in productions like “Kanyadaan,” “Sari Raat,” “Dedh Inch Upar,” “Thy Work Is Done,” and many more.
Sahil made his foray into the world of acting by taking on cameo roles in TV serials for Zee5/Zee Punjabi Channel, such as “Khasma nu Khani” (S1 E66&67), “Kamli Ishq Di” (S1, E167), “Tera Rang Chadiya” (S1, E42), and “Akhiyan Udeek Diyan” (S1, E61). He also appeared in crime series on the Star Bharat Channel and the PTC Box Office telemovie “Dor.” His journey in the film industry commenced with the Punjabi movie “Thana Sadar,” directed by Vikram Thori, where he played a supporting role as a militant.
Sahil has also been part of web shows like “Chandigarh Girls,” directed by Kirpal Sain, “Backstage Boys,” directed by Harjit Ricky, and “Dil Bekaraar,” directed by Habib Faisal.
