Sadia Khateeb is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. She was born on September 18, 1997. She debuted as an actress in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s 2020 film Shikara, for which she was nominated for a Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut. Since then, Khateeb has acted in two films: The Diplomat (2025) and Raksha Bandhan (2022).
In 2020, Khateeb made her Hindi cinema acting debut in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s play Shikara. The movie tells a love tale during the height of the Jammu and Kashmir insurgency and the Kashmiri Pandit genocide that followed. She played Shanti Dhar, a Brahmin woman from Kashmir who was compelled to leave her homeland with her spouse during the 1990 Kashmiri uprising. “Sadia, with her infectious smile, is a natural in portions where she is playing the younger part,” observed Pallabi Dey of the Times of India
Khateeb’s next role was in Raksha Bandhan. Reviews for the movie were not entirely positive. “The Akshay Kumar starrer Raksha Bandhan is a touching family saga, with a highly emotional second half that uplifts the film,” observed a critic for Bollywood Hungama, who gave the movie a rating of 3.5 out of 5. Critics said that “Sadia Khateeb leaves the maximum impact and looks quite stunning” after praising her performance. Khateeb next starred with John Abraham in The Diplomat in 2025.
