Rudrashish Majumder

Biography:

Major Rudrashish Majumder, born on March 5, 1989, transitioned from a career in the Indian Army to become an actor. His military service spanned from June 11, 2011, to July 7, 2018, during which he achieved the rank of Major. Majumder is a graduate of Lycee (Kolkata), Rashtriya Indian Military College (Dehradun), National Defence Academy (Khadakwasla, Pune), and Indian Military Academy (Dehradun). His military experience included an Infantry Attachment with the Sikhlight Infantry at the LOC in Jhangar and Machhil sector, followed by service in the Army Ordnance Corps at Bengdubi and Jalandhar.

After seven years of dedicated service, Major Rudrashish Majumder retired from the Army. He ventured into acting and made notable appearances in Bollywood films such as Chhichhore, Jersey, and Hawa Singh. Additionally, he marked his debut in the Bengali web series Lost in Tollywood. Beyond the screen, Majumder has featured in advertisements for MG Hector and Coca Cola.
