Ranjin Raj

Biography:

Born on December 11, 1988, Ranjin Raj is an Indian musician and composer active in the Malayalam film industry. He made his debut in the film “Joseph,” released on November 16, 2018.

Noteworthy songs in his portfolio include “Poomuthole” from Joseph, “Paal Nilavin” from Kaanekkaane, and “Nangeli Poove” from Malikappuram. Hailing from Melarcode, Kerala, Ranjin was born to Mr. M Rajendran and Mrs. Supriya Rajendran of Palakkad. He tied the knot with Silpa Tulsi on August 25, 2013.

Ranjin Raj was a participant in Idea Star Singer 2007, a music reality show aired on Asianet. His career took off as an in-house music producer for media outlets like Flowers (TV channel) and Zee Keralam, contributing to shows like Comedy Utsavam and Uppum Mulakum on Flowers (TV channel).

He collaborated with director V. A Shrikumar on the film “Odiyan,” featuring Mohanlal, composing scores for two promotional videos. Ranjin Raj initiated his film career as a musician with “Nithyaharitha Nayakan” and “Joseph,” with his song “Poomuthole” from the latter gaining significant acclaim.
