In the coastal Maharashtra town of Shrivardhan, Rajesh Mapuskar was born on September 26, 1968. Anant Mahadev Mapuskar and Sindhu Anant Mapuskar shared a joint family during his birth. After completing his studies at Shrivardhan High School until Grade 10, he moved to Mumbai and enrolled in Kirti College, Dadar. His bachelor’s degree in commerce was awarded to him. In the movie theater that belonged to his family, he saw movies during his early years. At an early age, he became involved in its upkeep, helping to clean, take reservations, and begin filming.
Additionally, he introduced Rohan Mapuskar, his cousin, to the film business. Zeal and Utsav are his two sons. Filmmaker, producer, and writer Rajesh Mapuskar is from India. He was first exposed to the film industry at a very young age because his family owned a theater. He created and directed Ferrari Ki Sawaari, his debut feature film, in 2012. He later wrote and directed the highly acclaimed Marathi film Ventilator in 2016, for which he received numerous award nominations, including the National Film Award’s Best Director category.
