Biography:

Rajani, an Indian actress best known for her roles in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam films, was born Shashi Kaur Malhotra on July 27, 1965.In 1998, she wed Dr. Mullagiri Praveen, with whom she has three children.

She has contributed to 150 feature films, such as Majnu (1987), Seetharama Kalyanam (1986), Aha Naa Pellanta (1987), and Rendu Rellu Aaru (1986).

She also acted in box office Tamil film “Vetri Vizha” (1989), a remake of the 1987 Hindi film Mr. India, and Kannada movie Jai Karnataka (1989) and Neenu Nakkare Haalu Sakkare (1991).

After that, she acted in Padheyam (1993), Bharathan’s smash Malayalam film. She was credited as Sasikala in Tamil movies.
