Raj B. Shetty

Biography:

Indian actor, director, and screenwriter Raj B. Shetty is primarily known for his Kannada films, however he has also appeared in a few Malayalam productions. Shetty began her career as a short filmmaker and RJ. His first film as a filmmaker, Ondu Motteya Kathe (2017), was a major economic success and helped him acquire fame. Gubbi Mele Brahmastra (2019), Mayabazar 2016 (2020), and Garuda Gamana Vrishabha Vahana (2021), which received a lot of praise and is currently regarded as one of the greatest Kannada films, further solidified it.

He has often spoken out about the problems facing Kannada film writers. He is a huge dog lover in addition to being an actor, which is one of the reasons he was cast in the 2022 blockbuster 777 Charlie.  Praveen Shriyan, an editor and cinematographer who he views as a key component of his films. He also starred in the Natesh Hegde-directed film Pedro, which was shown at film festivals.
