Biography:

Rahul Krushna Vaidya, born on September 23, 1987, is a prominent Indian singer and music composer, known for his notable contributions in the music industry and his participation in various reality shows.

Rahul Vaidya commenced his career in the limelight with the reality show Indian Idol 1, where he secured the position of 2nd runner-up. His impressive journey continued as he participated in renowned reality shows such as Bigg Boss 14 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, achieving the status of a finalist in both competitions.

Growing up in Mumbai, Rahul honed his musical skills under the guidance of Himanshu Manocha. His early recognition came from his remarkable performance on Indian Idol, marking the beginning of his multifaceted career.

After securing the third position in the inaugural season of Indian Idol, Rahul Vaidya released his debut album titled “Tera Intezar” in 2005, featuring music composed by Sajid-Wajid. He collaborated with fellow Indian Idol contestant Prajakta Shukre for the duet “Hello Madam, I am your Adam” and worked with Shreya Ghoshal on the song “God Promise Dil Dola” for the film Shaadi No. 1.

His versatility extended to hosting, as he hosted the show Jjhoom India and won the title of Jo Jeeta Wohi Superstar in 2008. Rahul continued to showcase his talent by singing for films like Jigyasa, Hot Money, and Krazzy 4, as well as lending his voice to the title song of the television series Ek Ladki Anjaani Si.

In 2020, Rahul Vaidya ventured into the realm of reality television once again, participating in Bigg Boss 14 and emerging as the runner-up. The following year, he showcased his fearlessness in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, reaching the finals.

In his personal life, Rahul Vaidya was in a relationship with model and actress Disha Parmar. His proposal to her during his stint on Bigg Boss 14 garnered attention, and the couple tied the knot on July 16, 2021. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in September 2023.
