Rahul Mittra is an Indian actor and producer who founded Brandsmith & Brandsmith Motion Pictures and Rahul Mittra Films. His productions include Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster (2011), Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster Returns (2013), Bullett Raja (2013), Revolver Rani (2014), Sarkar 3 (2017), Saheb, Biwi Aur Gangster 3 (2018), Cabaret (2019), and Torbaaz, with Sanjay Dutt, Nargis Fakhri, Rahul Dev, and Rahul Mittra.Rahul Mittra Films.

Rahul Mittra, a branding and communication specialist who was once a journalist for the Times of India, has won several accolades for his films and creative business strategies, including the Amity Leadership Award, the Uttar Pradesh Gaurav Samman, and multiple Best Producer Awards at the film festivals in Norway, Poland, San Francisco, Vietnam, Hungary, Uttarakhand, Mizoram, Kashmir, and Tashkent. One of the most contentious ventures in Indian media history, Medianet was a significant money spinner that Rahul began during his second stint at the Times of India Group. It involved monetizing the publication’s editorial areas for brand sponsorships.

After his late bureaucrat father, M.P. Mittra (IAS), was assigned to the Ministry of Home Affairs in Delhi, Rahul Mittra attended St. John’s High School in Chandigarh and Modern School Barakhamba Road in Delhi. Following his graduation from Hindu College, Delhi University, with a degree in Political Science, Rahul went on to Jawahar Lal Nehru University’s (JNU) School of International Studies to earn an MA in International Studies with a certificate concentration.

In 1994, Rahul was hired as a reporter and sub-editor by The Times of India, where he wrote on a variety of subjects, including politics, youth issues, crime, culture, and foreign affairs. He also specialized in government relations, marketing, business consulting, promotions, and communication. Rahul is also renowned for bringing together various companies.
