Rachel Blanchard

Biography:

Actress Rachel Elise Blanchard was born in Canada on March 19, 1976.  She played Susannah in the American romance drama series The Summer I Turned Pretty, Emma in the American comedy-drama series You Me Her, and Nancy in the British sitcom Peep Show.  Blanchard’s career began when she appeared in a McDonald’s commercial and played Melanie Schlegel on the Canadian children’s program The Kids of Degrassi Street when she was eight years old. She also played Kristen in YTV’s Are You Afraid of the Dark? and Debi, the daughter of Suzanne McCullough, in the television series War of the Worlds. Based on the 1995 film of the same name, Blanchard portrayed Cher Horowitz in the television series Clueless. From 2002 to 2004, she portrayed Roxanne Richardson in the television series 7th Heaven.
