R. S. Karthik

Biography:

Actor R. S. Karthiik is from India and has acted in Tamil-language movies. He made his cinematic debut in the 2016 Tamil film Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada. Since then, he has appeared in movies such as Parole (2022), Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam (2021), Maanagaram (2017), and Peechankai (2017).

Prior to starring in a supporting role in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Maanagaram (2017), Karthiik made his acting debut in a small role in Gautham Vasudev Menon’s Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada (2016). Karthiik’s first major role was in the co-produced black comedy Peechankai (2017), which centers on a person with alien hand syndrome.

The same crew had previously worked on a telefilm version of the movie, and the director decided to keep Karthiik in the title role. Though it received favorable reviews from critics, the movie didn’t do well at the Chennai box office. However, the movie attracted the interest of new directors, which resulted in four more film offers for Karthiik.

He put in a lot of work on the production of two films in the middle of 2018 and 2019, one about illegal racing with Sachin Mani and the other about koothu with Manishajith. However, neither movie was released in theaters. Subsequently, Karthiik starred in two distinct roles in the political satirical movie Yennanga Sir Unga Sattam (2021). Critics gave the movie a mixed response when it debuted. Karthiik starred in Dwarakh Raja’s crime thriller Parole (2022) as the main character.
