Biography:

Indian actor Pulkit Samrat (born 29 December 1983) predominantly performs in Hindi cinema and Hindi television. Samrat made his cinematic debut with Bittoo Boss (2012) and his acting debut with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2006). He has received a Telly Award from India.

Fukrey (2013) was Samrat’s first commercially successful film. Jai Ho (2014) was the release that earned him the most money. A setback occurred after this achievement due to a spate of failures, including Dolly Ki Doli (2015) and Sanam Re (2016). He later garnered recognition for his performances in Taish (2020), 3 Storeys (2018), and Fukrey Returns (2017).

Samrat is a well-known celebrity brand and product spokesperson in addition to his acting career.

Samrat was born on December 29, 1983, and was raised in Delhi, where his family owns a real estate company, in a Punjabi Hindu household. He attended Manav Sthali School before completing his education at Ashok Vihar, Delhi’s Montfort Senior Secondary School.

At the Delhi-based Apeejay Institute of Design, he enrolled in a course on advertising. But after five months of study, he was given a modeling project. After quitting school, he moved to Mumbai and enrolled in Kishore Namit Kapoor’s acting program.

On November 3, 2014, Samrat wed his lover Shweta Rohira. Salman Khan’s “rakhi-sister” is Rohira. Khan took part in the advertising for Pulkit Samrat’s first movie. November 2015 saw the separation of the pair.The relationship between Samrat and actress Yami Gautam finally ended. Samrat is currently seeing his co-star from Veerey Ki Wedding, Pagalpanti, and Taish, Kriti Kharbanda.
