Pulagam Chinnarayana is a versatile figure in Indian Telugu cinema, excelling as a journalist, author, critic, lyricist, dialogue writer, and public relations officer.

His journey commenced as a film journalist contributing to esteemed magazines like Sivaranjani, Number One, Chitram, and Santhosham, before his tenure at Sakshi for eight years, during which he ascended to the position of in-charge.

Chinnarayana is celebrated for his literary contributions to Telugu cinema, with works including “Jandhya Marutham,” “Aanaati Aanavaallu,” and “Cine Poornodayam.”

His meticulous documentation extends to music directors in “Svarnayuga Sangeetha Darshakulu” and detailed compilations like “Pasidi Thera” and “Cinema Venuka Storeelu.”

Notably, his collaboration with Viswanatha Reddy on “Maya Bazar Madhura Smruthulu” earned accolades, including commendation from Vice President Venkaiah Naidu.
