Puja Banerjee

Biography:

Puja Banerjee, an Indian actress known for her roles in Bengali films and Hindi television, is also sometimes credited as Pooja Bose or just Pooja. Her role as Vrinda in the Star Plus series Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna made her famous. She took part in the 2015 Comedy Nights Bachao and the 2014 Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

Banerjee began her television career with Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki (2008). She then starred as a simple Punjabi girl named Vrinda in the love series Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna.

She made her screen debut in Veedu Theda, a Telugu movie.

She also acted in the movie Macho Mustanaa, which starred Hiran Chatterjee. Originally titled Macho Mustafaa, the title was changed to accommodate Muslim clerics’ objections to the usage of the name “Mustafaa”. She was cast in two films directed by Raja Chanda: Sujit Mondal’s Rocky, starring Mahaakshay Chakraborty, and Challenge 2, starring Deepak Adhikari. Diwana Holo Mon, starring Hiran Chatterjee, is another unverified film.

Banerjee took part in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7, where Puja Bose was given credit. Rajit Dev, Vaibhavi Merchant’s principal choreographer, choreographed her.
