Biography:

Priyadarshini Ram, renowned as Priyadharshi Ram or simply Priyadarshini, stands as a celebrated Singaporean-Indian playback singer with a significant presence in the Tamil, Kannada, Telugu, and Hindi cinema industries. Her remarkable career spans over 180 movies and includes an impressive catalog of more than 800 songs across diverse genres and languages, encompassing devotional and private albums in 10 different linguistic streams.

Her journey in playback singing took off notably with the Tamil film “Kadhal Dot Com” in 2004, marking her debut performance alongside renowned singer Hariharan. Priyadarshini entered Kannada cinema through the movie “Ajju,” where her vocal prowess was showcased under the musical direction of Rajesh Ramanath. Noteworthy contributions also include her presence in Telugu Cinema, particularly through her collaboration with the esteemed composer D Imman. She has showcased her versatile vocal range in the Hindi film “Garam Masala,” contributing background vocals in a production starring Akshay Kumar. Another significant milestone includes her duet with the legendary S. P. Balasubrahmanyam in the Kannada movie “Rocky” in 2008.

Throughout her career, Priyadarshini has collaborated with esteemed music directors such as Bharadwaj, D. Imman, Hamsalekha, Mano Murthy, Gurukiran, R. P. Patnaik, Rajesh Ramnath, K. Kalyan, S. A.
