Priya Raman is an Indian actress, presenter, and producer who was born on June 18, 1974. She has acted in television series in the Malayalam and Tamil languages, as well as in films in the Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada languages. The 1993 movie Valli, which starred Rajnikanth, was her debut feature. Her first film in the Malayalam business was her second picture, Arthana, which was directed by I. V. Sasi and released in 1993. She was cast by Malayalam filmmaker Joshiy as an air force pilot in Sainyam alongside Mammootty in 1993.
In addition to her film career, she has made appearances in several television series in Tamil and Malayalam, including the former’s Durga, the latter’s Kavyanjali produced by Balaji Telefilms (as “Anjali”), Swarnamayooram, Pavakoothu, and Orma (as “Girly”). She performed in the Sembaruthi Zed Tamil series. On the same channel, she also hosts Genes, a celebrity reality game programme.
