Praveen Vanamali, often known as Praveen, is an Indian cinematographer, born in Hyderabad, India’s Telangana state. Praveen Vanamali has so far worked in the Telugu film industry, and several of his pieces have been included in Telugu-language films. Praveen began as a camera assistant and served in that capacity for two years, during that time he was a member of the Telugu production crew for several commercial movies. He afterward opted to obtain a professional qualification and the knowledge and abilities linked to cinematography after observing stunted progress in the role above. His passion drove him to pursue a BFA in film/video and photographic arts at Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, where he started taking up photography in his very second year. He worked on a short film called “Backstage” while he was a student, and it was recognized with two exceptional honors from the famous production company Mofilm London.

A renowned filmmaker, Ram Gopal Varma, also applauded the movie. As a result, Praveen worked on the critically acclaimed short films “Madhuram” and “Backspace.” In 2014, Shri Ramesh Prasad, one of the most well-known figures in Indian cinema, saw Praveen Vanamali and expressed great satisfaction with his performance in a test shoot. Shri Prasad sent Praveen to Shri Puri Jagannath, who invited him to do the whole cinematography of his commercial movie, “Andhra Pori.” The entire Tollywood film community appreciated his work on the film. Praveen has so far contributed to more than 30 commercial films, 18 feature films, and five documentaries. He is a vegetarian. He is also known for films; Andhra Pori was released in 2015; Arya Chitra was released in 2014; Lawyer Viswanath was released in 2014; Madhuram was released in 2014; 2 Hours of Love, released in 2019, Vajra Kavachadhara Govinda, released in 2019; The End, released in 2014, and Geethalu, released in 2011.
