Pradeep Nair

Biography:

Indian director Pradeep Nair mostly works in the Malayalam cinema industry. He has also made a number of documentaries that have won awards, making him a renowned Keralan filmmaker. His first film, Oridam (2005), earned five Kerala State Film Awards in 2005 and a Special Jury Award for director at the 52nd National Film Awards. Nair is also a writer. He has published two works about cinema: “Koottu Chernnulla Kali: Chalachithra Vicharangal” (2022) and “Drushya Mohanam:Samvidhayakan Mohante Chalachithra Kala” (2024).
