Payal Rohatgi, an Indian actress and reality TV personality, was born on November 9, 1984, in Hyderabad. She holds a degree in computer engineering and was a top scorer in the Gujarat Board.

Rohatgi’s career began with her participation in the prestigious Femina Miss India pageant. Her beauty and poise soon caught the eye of the Indian media, and she later represented India as Miss India Tourism in the internationally renowned Miss Tourism World pageant. Her crowning achievement on the international stage was winning the title of Supermodel Miss Tourism World. This early recognition helped kickstart her career in the entertainment industry.

As a model, Rohatgi graced advertisements for various well-known brands, including Amul, Nirma, Nescafe, and Dabur Hair Oil. However, it was her appearance in a television commercial for Cadbury’s Temptations Chocolates that truly propelled her into the limelight. Concurrently, she ventured into the music scene, starring in music videos alongside renowned artists such as the rock band Silk Route and Indipop artist KK.

In the world of Indian cinema, Payal Rohatgi made her debut in 2002 with “Yeh Kya Ho Raha Hai?” and went on to appear in films like “36 China Town” in 2006 and Madhur Bhandarkar’s “Corporate,” where she delivered an item song. She also made cameo appearances in films like “Ugly Aur Pagli” and “Dil Kabaddi,” the latter opposite Irrfan Khan. They also showcased their chemistry on the dance reality show “Nach Baliye 7” in April 2015 on Star Plus, making it to the final episode. Notably, they even acted together in a film titled “Night.”
