Patrick Graham

Biography:

Patrick Graham is an English filmmaker and director working out of India who specialises in horror, thrillers, and genre stories. Patrick Graham has studied at Royal Holloway, University of London and London Film School. He moved to India in 2010 where he initially focused on advertising and developing content for Indian digital platforms. He debuted with his original writing and directing efforts with the Netflix horror miniseries ‘Ghoul’ (2018) which he directed and created. The horror miniseries features actors Radhika Apte, Manav Kaul and Ratnabali Bhattacharjee. It is a supernatural horror miniseries with elements of political oppression and totalitarianism.

Following the success of Ghoul (2018), Patrick Graham went on to become the showrunner, head writer and lead director of Netflix’s zombie-horror series ‘Betaal’ (2020) which was co-directed by Nikhil Mahajan. Graham also worked as a writer in the writer’s room of the dystopian Netflix series ‘Leila’ (2019). Graham made his true crime documentary debut with the Amazon Prime Video’s ‘Dancing on the Grave’ (2023) which Graham directed and developed and which investigates the mysterious death of Shakereh Khaleeli.
