Parvin Dabas’ birth was July 12, 1974. Outer Delhi’s Kanjhawala is where his family comes from. He attended Delhi University’s Hans Raj College after attending the Modern School in Vasant Vihar, New Delhi.
Dabas is also a skilled underwater photographer and scuba diver. On March 23, 2008, he wed actress Preeti Jhangiani. On April 11, 2011, their son Jaiveer was born. They welcomed their second child, Dev, on September 27, 2016. Bandra is where the family resides. After an accident on September 21, 2024, Parvin Dabas was hospitalized to Holy Family Hospital Bandra’s intensive care unit.
After making his cinematic debut in the 1999 film Dillagi, Dabas costarred with Antara Mali in the Malayalam film Ayyappantamma Neyyappam Chuttu the following year. His first significant acting role was in Mira Nair’s Monsoon Wedding. Since then, he has acted in other Bollywood productions, such as Tumse Milkar, which starred Reshmi Ghosh.
Later, he starred in critically acclaimed movies like Maine Gandhi Ko Nahin Mara, Khosla Ka Ghosla, and The Hero: Love Story of a Spy. In a Deven Bhojani-directed episode of the Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai TV series that aired on STAR One in 2005, he made a cameo as Sudhanshu.
Sahi Dhandhe Galat Bande, his debut film as director, came out on August 19, 2011. He received a Silver Remi Award at Worldfest Houston 2011 (Houston International Film Festival) and a Bronze Palm Award at the 2011 Mexico International Film Festival. At the 2011 International Film Festival of India, which took place in Goa from November 23 to December 3, the movie was chosen for the Indian Panorama section.
