Indian cinematographer Parvez Pathan has directed more than 20 Hindi films in his career, including Bodyguard (2011) and Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathiyo (2004). His first roles were assistant cameraman on movies such as Refugee (2000), Darna Zaroori Hai – You Gotta Be Scared (2006), and Hum Saath-Saath Hain: We Stand United (1999).
With Pool (2007), Pathan made his feature film debut as an independent cinematographer. Movies like Payback (2010), Kota Junction (2015), and Page 16 (2018) came after this.
