Biography:

Parvateesam is an Indian actor active in the Telugu film industry. He portrayed the character of Nookaraju in the 2015 movie “Kerintha,” alongside Sumanth Ashwin, Viswant, Sri Divya, Sukrithi, and Tejaswi Madivada. His film credits in 2016 include “Rojulu Marayi” directed by Murali Krishna Mudidani and “Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends.”

As a newcomer in the Telugu film scene, Parvateesam, a budding comedian, prefers not to be labeled solely as such. Instead, he aspires to be recognized as an artist akin to Prakash Raj and Kota Srinivasa. His breakthrough role was that of Nookaraju in the film “Kerintha,” produced by Dil Raju and directed by Saikiran Adivi.

Originally from Kharagpur, Parvateesam relocated with his family at a young age, eventually settling in Visakhapatnam and later Bangalore for his education. Despite completing his B.Tech, he abandoned a promising job in Bangalore to pursue his passion for acting.

During his college days, Parvateesam and his friends staged a comedy play titled “Interview lo Gandhara golam,” receiving acclaim for their performance. This fueled his confidence, leading him to engage in theater at the National School of Drama (NSD) and attend various workshops to hone his skills. Reflecting on his journey, Parvateesam acknowledges that while he initially thought of pursuing a career in theater if he failed to break into films, fate led him to audition for “Kerintha.” Through dedicated preparation and immersion into his character as Nookaraju, he found his breakthrough opportunity. Despite his success, Parvateesam remains selective about his film choices, emphasizing quality over quantity. He embraces his association with the character Nookaraju, acknowledging the impact it has had on his career.
