P. Sivakami is an Indian Dalit-feminist author, activist, and former IAS official who was born on November 30, 1957. She writes primarily in Tamil. Among her well-known pieces are Kadaisi Mandhar, Kurruku Vettu, Nalum Thodarum, and Pazhayana Kazhidalum. In addition to being one of India’s most well-known Dalit novelists, she has consistently expressed her views on current social and political issues.
