Born and raised in an Army setting, Lt Col Nitin Mehta travelled throughout the nation every one and a half to two years.
His mother stays at home while his father, too, is a former Army officer.
He attended DPS Ghaziabad for his education before being accepted to the National Defence Academy, the Indian Military Academy, and finally the Indian Army, where he was commissioned as an officer. After earning his B Tech (Mech) degree, he completed a unique education programme in the Indian Army’s helicopter repair and maintenance. In 2016, after 21 years of service in the Army, he took an early retirement owing to an accident that left him with neck and spine damage.
At the age of 44, he then began his modelling career in 2016. In addition to walking in both India and Lakmé Fashion Weeks, he has been in a lot of TV ads and advertisements.
He then tried his hand at acting. Following the success of the Telugu film AKHANDA, in which he portrayed the major antagonist, he is currently working on other Telugu and Tamil films.
