Biography:

This emerging actor is a relative unknown in the Bollywood film industry. Born in Mumbai, Divekar keeps his personal life closely guarded, revealing little about his background, family ties, aspirations, or personal life. The only familial connection that has been made public is his cousinship with Omi Vaidya, the American actor famed for his role as the Silencer in “3 Idiots”.

Divekar’s commitment to privacy sets him apart in today’s celebrity landscape. He has been involved in Marathi theatre since childhood, but his foray into acting began with minor roles in Hindi TV serials such as “ShrimanShrimati”, “Filmy Chakkar”, and “ChupkeChupke”.

His breakthrough came with roles in Mahesh Majrekar’s films like “Vaastav” and “Pitaah”, but it was his standout performance in the 2012 sports drama “Ferrari Ki Sawari” that propelled him into the limelight. In the movie, Divekar portrays Pakya, the son of a local corporate figure, embroiled in a comedic family adventure to procure a stolen Ferrari.

Audiences praised Divekar’s ability to seamlessly blend into his surroundings and embody his character, Pakya, with authenticity. Although he missed out on playing Circuit in the blockbuster “Munnabhai MBBS”, Divekar regards his experience working with Vidhu Vinod Chopra films as an honor.
