Actress and writer Namrata Tipirneni hails from Hyderabad. She collaborated with Samahaara on productions of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest and The Last Wish Baby. She performed in the company’s original piece, Kabaddi: The Game of Partition, and co-founded The Cutting Chai Company, a theater and film production company. She also co-wrote and starred in The Cutting Chai Company’s short film, To Me From Me. She most recently contributed to the Telugu version of TVF’s Permanent Roommates (2020) and the web series Commitmental.
