Biography:

Nakuul Mehta, born on January 17, 1983, is a versatile Indian actor renowned for his work in Hindi television. His acting journey commenced in 2012 with the TV show “Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara,” where he portrayed the character of Aditya Kumar. However, it was his compelling performance as Shivaay Singh Oberoi in “Ishqbaaz” that catapulted him to widespread acclaim. Nakuul further showcased his acting prowess in the role of Ram Kapoor in “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2” and “Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 3.”

Venturing into the digital realm, Nakuul made his web debut in 2016 with “I Don’t Watch TV.” His web series repertoire includes notable works like “Never Kiss Your Best Friend,” “Zindagi in Short,” and the short film “Ved and Arya.”

Hailing from Udaipur, Rajasthan, Nakuul Mehta belongs to a distinguished family. His father, Pratap Singh Mehta, is a war veteran who served in the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. Going back in his lineage, his great-great grandfather Laxmilal Mehta held the position of military commander in the Mewar region.

Nakuul pursued his Master of Commerce from Mumbai University, showcasing his commitment to education alongside his acting career. Beyond acting, he is a skilled dancer, proficient in various dance forms such as jazz, hip hop, break, folk, salsa, and contemporary. He received training in ballroom dancing under the guidance of Sandip Soparrkar, a renowned ballroom teacher and Bollywood choreographer. In June 2011, Nakuul represented Maharashtra in the All India Dance Sport Federation, where he earned a silver medal in the Latin Ballroom Category and a gold medal in the Standard Ballroom category. Nakuul Mehta’s multi-faceted talents and dedication to his craft make him a prominent figure in the Indian entertainment industry.
