Monty Sharma is an Indian music composer and director known for his work in the Hindi film industry. He was born on December 17, 1974, in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.

Monty Sharma comes from a family with a strong musical background. His father, Pyarelal Sharma, is one half of the renowned music composer duo Laxmikant-Pyarelal. Monty Sharma received his initial training in music from his father and later honed his skills in classical music under the guidance of Pandit Satyanarayan Mishra.

Monty Sharma made his debut as a music composer in the film industry with the critically acclaimed and commercially successful movie “Saawariya” in 2007. The film, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, showcased Monty Sharma’s talent for creating soulful and melodious compositions. He earned widespread praise for his work on the film, and the songs, such as “Jab Se Tere Naina” and “Yoon Shabnami,” became popular among audiences.

Following the success of “Saawariya,” Monty Sharma continued to work on notable projects.
