Monali Chowdary

Monali Chowdary is a Telugu actress who hails from Hyderabad. Originally named Madhu Chowdary, her screen name was changed to Monali Chowdery due to the presence of several actresses with the same name in the industry. She pursued her B.Tech in Architecture from JNTU Masbtank, Hyderabad.

Her journey into the film industry began when her friends sent her pictures to Big FM, leading to audition opportunities. She eventually got selected for the movie “Happy Days,” which marked her entry into the industry. Her character in the film, named Sangeetha, became immensely popular, and she is widely recognized by that name.

Monali admires actors and actresses such as Sidharth, Nagarjuna, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Tabu, and Shabana Azmi. Her favorite films include “Aithe,” “Anand,” “Grahanam,” “Raincoat,” and more.

Beyond acting, Monali has a range of hobbies, including painting, writing, and designing. She is also passionate about dancing and acting. Her parents were supportive of her decision to enter the film industry, and the director Shekar Kammula played a crucial role in her journey.
