Mohit Daga

Biography:

Mohit Daga (born 15 August 1982) is an Indian television actor, widely recognized for his performances in popular shows such as Bhaskar Bharti, Aise Karo Naa Vidaa, Bairi Piya, Ek Mutthi Aasmaan, and Tera Yaar Hoon Main. He was born into a Jain family in Gadarwara, Madhya Pradesh.

Inspired by his aunt, Nilmani Desai, Mohit began his journey by attending a modelling workshop in Pune. He later moved to Mumbai in 2002 to train at an acting workshop, where he secured a small role in the television serial Kammal. Aspiring to establish himself in films, he participated in the reality show Zee Cinestars Ki Khoj in 2004 and emerged as a finalist.

Although his initial attempts in films did not materialize as expected, Mohit gained significant recognition with Akbar Birbal Remixed in 2007, India’s first web and mobile series produced by Rajshree Media. Following this breakthrough, he appeared in several television shows, including Love Story (2007), Left Right Left (2008), Bhaskar Bharti (2009), Aise Karo Naa Vidaa (2010), Bairi Piya (2010), and Ek Mutthi Aasmaan (2013–14). He later featured in Aapke Aa Jane Se (2018) on Zee TV and acted in the web series Faceless (2019) on Jio Cinema. Since December 2020, he has been seen playing a role in Shashi Sumeet Productions’ Tera Yaar Hoon Main.
