Mauli Dave, born on June 3, 1987, is a multi-talented Indian artist known for her singing, acting, dancing, and hosting skills. She rose to fame as a contestant on Zee TV’s Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007, where she showcased her musical prowess after a series of auditions in the USA and Mumbai. Her rendition of “Mayya Mayya” became particularly famous, earning her a spot in the top 10 contestants on the show, mentored by Bappi Lahiri.
Before her stint on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Mauli Dave had already made a mark in the entertainment industry. She was a finalist in Sony Entertainment’s Chalo America Boogie Woogie in 2004 and held the title of Miss Teen India Texas 2007. With a zest for music and acting, she decided to relocate to Mumbai at the age of 19 to pursue her passion further.
In Mumbai, she hosted the Zee Network’s family dance show, “Rock n Roll Family” in 2008. Additionally, she appeared in the lead role in a Zoom Tele-Film titled “Ek Anhonee.” Mauli also ventured into reality television by participating in Fear Factor India: Khatron Ke Khiladi season 4, where she emerged as the Runner-up, showcasing her adventurous side.
